| The Greek School was founded in 1910. The calendar year runs from September through June. Tuition is $100 plus $10 for books per child. The Subjects are reading, writing, Greek dialogues. grammer, history, geography, religion, hymnology and mythology. A knowledge of Greek will be a decidedly strong asset in the mastery of English vocabulary, for over 35% of the English language has Greek derivatives. Through Greek school, students can find friends of similar backgrounds, interests and aspirations. Greek school preserves culture, faith, traditions and heritage; a lifelong asset. Important for the perpetuation and preservation of language and faith. |
