New Building
January 14, 2009:
  • Our utility pole was installed this week.
  • Last week, the gas line from our building was tunneled under our parking lot, up the hill and
under Cross Road and connected to the main gas line under the street. This is critical for
    interior winter construction.
  • The roof shingles on the administration section have been installed.
  • The siding is complete on the adminstration section and partially on the coffee hall.
  • Plumbing started yesterday.
  • All the rooms are framed.
  • All windows installed.
  • Bufftree is in the process of designing the altar and the iconostasis.
  • We are contemplating using our current pews for the new church.  We are in the process
of obtaining prices on how much it would cost to refurbish them.

  • The building of our new church will be in two phases. The new facility, under phase one, is
approximately 6,800 sq. ft., our current church is approximately 5,200 sq. ft. The
temporary church will hold 200 people and the temporary hall will hold 70 people, seated.
