and feel comfortable in their own church. We believe that young children are
able to understand God’s message through Scripture and that by attending
Sunday School we will be able to help your child build a relationship with Jesus.
Sunday School classes are held every Sunday from 10:00A.M. to 11:00
A.M.
The beginner’s class is for children who are four and five years old. The
curriculum includes the Happy with God textbook and the Orthodox Children’s
Bible. The children are taught a basic orthodox curriculum which consists of
learning how to make your cross, understanding what Holy Communion is and
the proper way to receive it, learning about icons, Bible stories from the Old
and New Testament, and what it means to be a Christian. They will also
understand that God loves them, knows them, and values them.
The teachers for this class are Athena Paleologos DeBrito and Heather
Robillard.
Athena Paleologos Debrito recently graduated from Johnson and Wales
University with a B.A.degree in Marketing and Fashion Design.

The primary class is for children who are six and seven years old. The students
are learning about Christian virtues such as love, joy, peace, honesty, and
forgiveness with Bible units in Fruit of the Spirit. They will also learn about
